Identity verification with biometric check

There are two main options to verify a user's identity with a selfie :

Using Datakeen's Off The Shelf API on Id documents
Using Datakeen's Journey Sessions that can be generated through the Datakeen Platform or by API

When to use each solution

Solution 1. Off the Shelf API's

If :

You already have an application (web or mobile) and want them to stay custom
You have your own workflow and own screens
You have a technical team that can integrate API's

Then you should use Solution 1. Off the Shelf APIs

Do not forget to send the selfie photo according to the documentation here.

For the selfie photo sent to the API the recommended mode and sizes are the following :

Portrait mode
Minimum size in pixels : 320 x 480 px
Recommended size in pixels: 1080 x 1920 px

Solution 2. Journey Sessions

If :

You want to leverage Datakeen's know-how in capturing documents and selfies.
You do not have your own workflow and screens
You want minimal technical integration

Then you should use Solution 2. Journey Sessions
